Xbox Games Showcase 2026 Is Official
Microsoft has officially announced one of the biggest gaming events of the year. Xbox Games Showcase 2026 will air on Sunday, June 7 at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm BST. Immediately after, a dedicated Gears of War: E-Day Direct presentation will follow.
Following last year’s widely praised showcase, this year’s event is expected to deliver similar excitement. Xbox confirmed that the show will feature first gameplay reveals and major announcements from its first-party studios across the Xbox family, as well as third-party partners from around the globe — ranging from the biggest franchises to upcoming indie titles.
Gears of War: E-Day Direct
Right after the Showcase, The Coalition Studio will take center stage. The team behind the Gears franchise will offer a deep dive into the highly anticipated Gears of War: E-Day.
E-Day serves as a prequel to the Gears of War saga, telling the origin story of Emergence Day, the moment that changed everything. The Coalition will share new gameplay footage, detailed insights, and behind-the-scenes content during the presentation. The game is expected to launch later this year.
Xbox FanFest Returns
As part of Xbox’s 25th anniversary celebrations, Xbox FanFest is making a comeback. This year’s event will feature a look back at the last 25 years of Xbox alongside a forward-looking view of what’s next.
Fans in the US can enter for a chance to win free tickets at xbox.com/fanfest. The entry deadline is April 12, 2026.
Where to Watch
The event will be broadcast in over 40 languages, with support for American Sign Language (ASL), British Sign Language (BSL), and English Audio Descriptions. Tune in on:
