Hollow Knight: Silksong Release Date Officially Revealed

The date fans have been waiting years for is finally here. Team Cherry has announced that the highly anticipated Hollow Knight: Silksong will be released on September 4, 2025. Furthermore, the game will be available on Xbox Game Pass from day one.

Silksong will be available for purchase on Steam, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and DRM-free on GOG and the Humble Bundle.

Hornet’s Journey

In this sequel, players will take control of Hornet, the princess-protector of Hallownest. Captured and brought to an unfamiliar land, Hornet must battle new foes and solve mysteries as she embarks on a deadly pilgrimage to the kingdom’s peak.

Silksong promises to expand on the first game’s award-winning formula, offering a vast new adventure filled with entirely new lands, powers, and formidable enemies.
