Arrowhead Games Studios has announced a brand new Premium Warbond for the hit co-op action game Helldivers 2, titled The Exo Experts. Launching on April 28, this new content drop provides the soldiers of Super Earth with heavily armored, high-firepower vehicles to spread Managed Democracy.
New Exosuits: Changing the Tide of War
At the heart of The Exo Experts Warbond are brand-new mecha additions. The Ministry of Defense has authorized the immediate mobilization of new Exosuits.
First up is the EXO-51 Lumberer, a modern reinvention of the classic model from the First Galactic War. Equipped with an anti-tank cannon and a flamethrower, it delivers maximum devastation to heavy armor while purging smaller enemies in a ring of fire.
For taking a more defensive approach, the EXO-55 Breakthrough enters the fray. Brandishing a flak cannon and a ballistics shield, this new mech model provides heavy support against Super Earth’s toughest foes while effectively protecting itself.
New Weapons and Gear
There are also exciting additions for infantry who prefer boots on the ground. The MGX-42 Bullet Storm is a disposable machine gun featuring caseless ammunition in multiple barrels. Since you receive two per usage, you can simply toss them aside once empty and keep moving.
The infantry arsenal also welcomes the SMG-203 Gallant, a submachine gun boasting a high rate of fire. As an upgraded version of the popular MP-98 Knight, it sacrifices a bit of magazine capacity for increased armor penetration, making it a deadlier alternative.
To complete your loadout, the new P-33 Missile Pistol has been added, utilizing the latest in lock-on, heat-propelled guided rounds.
New Armors, Capes, and More
To ensure workplace safety on the battlefield, new armor sets are rolling out. The O-2 Heavy Operator armor serves as the state-mandated uniform for citizens operating heavy machinery. It pairs perfectly with the retro-printed Watchful Compatriot cape.
Another option is the O-3 Free Spirit armor, equipped with the SteerComfort system, allowing the wearer to feel every movement of their Exosuit. The Free Spirited Spangles cape perfectly complements this set, representing speed and style.
These new armors come standard with the Oxygenator perk, giving Helldivers slightly faster walking, running, and sliding speeds while remaining within health and safety guidelines.
Finally, this Warbond allows you to equip the new “Exosuit Certified” title, and show off to your squadmates with the “Thumb of Approval” emote and victory pose.
