Hades II Full Release Date Confirmed, Cross-Saves Coming to Nintendo Switch

Hades II Leaves Early Access: Full Release Date Confirmed

The long-awaited full release of Hades II is just around the corner. Developer Supergiant Games has announced that the critically acclaimed sequel will exit its Early Access phase and launch its 1.0 version on September 25, 2025.

Hades II, which has been in Early Access since May 2024, has been shaped by player feedback throughout its development. For those who already own the game, the v1.0 launch will be a free, automatic update. New players will be able to purchase the game at its current price.

Cross-Save Support for Nintendo Switch and PC

One of the most exciting features arriving with the full release is cross-save functionality. Players will be able to transfer their save data from the Steam version to both the Nintendo Switch and the upcoming next-gen Nintendo Switch 2. Supergiant says this feature will be accessible via a simple in-game menu, offering a seamless way to continue your journey across different platforms.

“The Biggest Game We’ve Ever Made”

Supergiant Games noted that Hades II is the studio’s first-ever sequel, representing over four and a half years of dedicated work. In a statement, the team emphasized the crucial role of the Early Access community in helping “fully realize this game’s potential.” The result, they say, is “the biggest game we’ve ever made.” The developers extended their thanks to both the early adopters for their support and to new players for their patience.
