🚨 Sports Interactive has announced the complete cancellation of Football Manager 25. This decision, following two previous postponements, came as a major disappointment for fans of the series.

“We Can’t Even Release a Game on Schedule Despite Planned Programming”

In their announcement, the development team stated that the game failed to reach the desired technical and visual standards, leading to the cancellation decision. The statement included, “We aimed to start a new era in the series with FM25, but we realized we couldn’t meet expectations at this point.”

Pre-orders Will Be Refunded

Players who pre-ordered Football Manager 25 will automatically receive refunds. While those who purchased through official retailers like Steam and Epic Games will be automatically included in the refund process, customers who bought from other stores need to contact their respective sellers.

No FM24 Update Either

Additionally, it was announced that there will be no 2024/25 season update for FM24. The development team stated that they are redirecting all their resources to the next game, Football Manager 26.
