Epic Games Store Holiday Sale Begins: 17 Free Games to Be Distributed
Epic Games Store’s eagerly anticipated holiday sale and free game campaign has officially started. Running until January 8th, the campaign offers discounts of up to 95% and will distribute a total of 17 different titles for free.
Daily Free Game Marathon Has Started
Following last week’s Hogwarts Legacy giveaway, Epic Games Store has launched its daily free game series starting today. Throughout the campaign, a new game will become available every day at 4:00 PM UTC (8:00 AM PST / 11:00 AM EST). Once added to the library during the specified period, these games will remain permanently in players’ collections.
The first free game of the holiday marathon is Jotunnslayer: Hordes of Hel, an action-packed title.

Sales and Epic Rewards
Alongside the free games, a major sale is running across the store. Prices have been reduced on thousands of products, from AAA titles to indie games, and the “Epic Rewards” rate earned from purchases has been increased to 20% during the campaign. This allows users to earn back a portion of their spending as balance to use on future purchases.
Don’t set your expectations too high for the free games, and don’t believe the ”RDR2, Cyberpunk 2077 WILL BE FREE!” content circulating on social media and clickbait news sites.
