Technical Innovation and Performance Tech

The PC edition of Death Stranding 2 is packed with the latest image reconstruction technologies. Support for NVIDIA DLSS 4, AMD FSR 4, and Intel XeSS 2 will be available on day one, including both upscaling and frame generation options.

A unique addition to the PC version is the “Pico” upscale setting. Developed by Guerrilla for the Decima engine and utilized in the PS5 version, this Progressive Image Compositor makes its PC debut. Pico is compatible with all supported graphics cards and can be used alongside various frame generation tools.

Cinematic Experience and Ultrawide Views

Death Stranding 2 on PC fully embraces cinematic immersion with support for ultrawide aspect ratios (21:9 and 32:9). All cutscenes have been meticulously crafted for a 21:9 view. Even without an ultrawide monitor, users with high-resolution 16:9 displays can enable widescreen modes in the settings to enjoy the broader field of vision.

In a first, a 21:9 ultrawide update will also be pushed to the PlayStation 5 version of the game simultaneously with the PC launch.

Players who link their accounts will gain access to the Link Porter Suit and Link Patch, inspired by the iconic PlayStation logo. These rewards will also be special bonuses for PS5 Porters following the launch day update.
