Counter-Strike 2 Season 4 Announced: Here Are Dates and Details!

Valve has finally announced the new season of Counter-Strike 2. Premier Season 3 will end on January 19, 2026, making way for Season 4. The exact time of the update has not been announced, but traditionally, it is expected to happen on Wednesday night. Here are all the curious details!


Season 3’s Legacy: Medal and Performance Analysis

  • All players who earned a CS Rating during Season 3 will receive a special Premier Season 3 Medal.
  • Through the medal, players will be able to view CS Rating graphs, playtimes, and map-based statistics recorded throughout the season.
  • The statistics will offer the opportunity to analyze which maps need improvement for Season 4.

Transition to Season 4: What is Changing?

  • During the season transition on January 19, CS Ratings will be re-calibrated based on Season 3 performance.
  • 10 wins will be required to determine your rating in the new season.
  • Map Rotation: While the classic Anubis returns, Train will be removed from the Premier pool.

Requirements for the Season 3 Medal

  • 25 Premier match wins,
  • The account must be in good standing,
  • Having an active CS Rating at the end of the season (on January 19, 2026).
  • The medal color is designed based on the highest rating achieved in the season; bars are designed to increase every 25 wins (maximum 5 bars).
