The Official Reveal Date for Battlefield 6 is Locked In
After months of rampant leaks and speculation, Electronic Arts (EA) has finally announced the official reveal date for the next Battlefield title. According to their social media announcement, Battlefield 6 will be officially unveiled with a trailer on Thursday, July 24th.
The End of Leaks and Speculation
The game’s title, Battlefield 6, was all but confirmed recently when a gift package featuring the game’s logo was leaked online. Previously, rumors pointed to a special EA event on July 31st for the big reveal. However, EA’s latest announcement has put all speculation to rest, confirming the imminent date.
A New Game, A New Approach
Following the community’s disappointment with the last installment, Battlefield 2042, EA is reportedly adopting a more transparent development process. Multiple EA studios have been collaborating on the game, which has been in closed testing since March. These studios are aiming to create an interconnected “Battlefield universe” set in the modern day.
While the game is rumored to launch by March 2026, there is also talk of an open beta scheduled for August, following the initial reveal on July 24th.
